Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has confirmed that in the US fall (Sept – Dec) of 2011 it will release two of its modern animated classics as 3D Blu-ray / 2D Blu-ray / DVD / Digital Copy combo packs: Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. The news was outed by a new trade ad in Home Media Magazine (accompanying the article Will 2011 Be 3D Blu-ray’s Year?). While the ad was published within a US magazine, expect these titles in be released in Australia within a month of the US release.
