James Cameron’s Avatar Extended Blu-ray Collector’s Edition Australian Release Date and Details

AVATAR: EXTENDED COLLECTOR'S EDITION TIN CASE (BLU-RAY)

Details have surfaced about the Australian release of James Cameron’s Avatar Extended Blu-ray which will hit Australian stores on Wednesday 24th November 2010 (November 15th in the UK and November 16th in the US).

Avatar Extended Collector’s Edition Blu-ray will release in two editions, the standard 3 disc blu-ray set and a collector’s edition Tin.

The Standard Avatar Extended Collector’s Edition blu-ray contains the following special features:

  • Original Theatrical Version
  • Special Edition Re-Release
  • Collector’s Extended Cut – 16 more minutes and exclusive alternate opening
  • Capturing Avatar – an in-depth feature length documentary with James Cameron, Jon Landau and cast and crew
  • Deleted Scenes – including over 45 minutes of new never-before-seen deleted scenes
  • Production Materials
  • Open “Pandora’s Box” and go deeper into the filmmaker process
