Back to the Future goes back to the cinema for Sydney Charity event this Wednesday Dec 1

Back to the Future goes back to the Cinema

It’s Australia’s turn to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the release of one of the greatest, most popular movies of all time – ‘Back to the Future.’

Following similar celebrations around the world it’s Australia’s turn to hit 88 miles per hour and come ‘Back to the Future’ with us in support of the 80,000 Australian’s with Parkinson’s disease.

On Wednesday 1 December at 8pm, Parkinson’s NSW, in association with Universal Pictures and Event Cinemas is staging a 25th Anniversary re-screening with a digitally re-mastered version of ‘Back to the Future’.

The charity screening is to raise money for people with Parkinson’s, their carers and families. The star of the movie Michael J Fox was diagnosed with the disease when doing the hit TV series Spin City and he was forced to leave the show because of his Parkinson’s. He has since set up the MJF Foundation in America which like Parkinson’s NSW supports people with this debilitating disease.

On the night of this red carpet event, the DeLorean car will be on show, along with heaps of film memorabilia in the foyer for people to check out and have their photo taken with.

More information on the event is available at http://www.backtothemovies.com.au/ with tickets available to purchase here.
