Back to the Future lands on Blu-ray here in Australia on 27 October 2010 with not one, not two, but three Blu-ray editions of the release available to purchase. The standard boxset, the Limited DeLorean Edition, and the Limited Edition Collector’s Tin. Details on these releases and where to find them are below.

The Back to the Future Trilogy Limited DeLorean Edition blu-ray comes in a very cool Replica Model DeLorean, complete with Certificate of Authenticity, Limited Edition 3D Lenticular Print, 3 Movie Set in Fold-out Digipak Packaging; and over 5 hours of bonus content!

In Australia, the Limited DeLorean Edition blu-ray is available exclusively through JB HiFi for the price of $109. Alternatively you could import the DeLorean Edition from Amazon.co.uk and pay £67.49 which is roughly the same price.

Back to the Future Trilogy Limited Edition Collector’s Tin

In the UK, Universal Home Entertainment is releasing the Back to the Future Trilogy Limitied Edition Tin Blu-ray tin box set includes a blueprint for the Delorean, an ‘Outatime’ number plate, a 1950-2000 Sports Almanac, a lenticular photo of Marty McFly’s family, posters, and artcards. As always, Blu-rays from the UK are region B encoded and will play on Australian blu-ray players. If you would like to get your hands on this edition of Back to the Future on blu-ray, it is available to buy from Amazon.co.uk for £44.93 which is roughly $72 AUD at the time of writing. This edition won’t be coming to Australian stores.
